My Approach to Healthcare
I believe in patient-centered healthcare in which the patient’s interests are the most important part of the health care encounter. I take time to educate each patient so that each patient gains a clear understanding of his or her condition. By presenting various options and discussing the risks and benefits of each option I work to help guide patients in their treatment decisions but ultimately they are the ones to choose what is right for them. Although I am trained in the latest in surgical techniques, I believe that elective surgery is an option to be performed when other more conservative techniques have failed.
